Aunts and Earwigs

Uncle Enoch got engaged to Natalie.

Brig: Natalynn, do you want a new aunt?

N: No, but I have an earwig!!!

Pioneer Day Again

For July 24, we did the same thing we do every year: parade, rides, family dinner, fireworks. But this year we added some water fun with the fire truck.
This was one of the few times Bridger has gotten his hands dirty.

It's not fun having kids share bedrooms. I don't know how people used to have tons of kids and they'd share one room. Out of desperation for kids to go to sleep we tried to get Bridger to sleep in our bed (alone), and after he fell asleep we would move him to his own bed. He wanted to be with Sister and repeatedly cried, "This.. is.. not.. my.. own.. bed."

Bad mom confession: I forgot to buckle my son and drove down Redwood Road. Bridger did not forget however, "Ah Oh mom. Car is crying. I not buckle"

In case you didn't notice Bridger crying, he will sometimes announce between sobs, "I'm crying."


Bridger likes to play around before a diaper change. He'll lay down every which way saying, "This way? No!" But today after a few different positions he said, "Not on top of yo head!"

"My put (foot) coming out. You notice?"

Bridger using broken cell phone:
"My pone (phone) ringing. I have to get it. You want to come over next time Bampa? I'll call you back."
